Your Neurodiversity Coach

If you're here, chances are you know what it feels like to have a busy brain, to struggle with the intensity of your emotions, to lose track of time, and to stay organised. It is draining trying to fit in.

I get it. Really.

For over nine years, I’ve worked exclusively with neurodivergent adult so I hear these stories daily. Neurodiversity is also part of my daily life. Supporting family members with ADHD and autism means this work goes beyond theory—I navigate these complexities too.

I provide neurodiverse coaching sessions five days a week, working both privately and as a delivery partner for public sector organisations including the Department for Work and Pensions' Access to Work scheme and the Ministry of Justice, supporting people on probation.

My approach is shaped by lived experience and rooted in contextual behavioural science. I focus on delivering high-quality coping strategy coaching, training, and mentoring to neurodivergent adults or long-term health conditions, both in and outside the workplace.

Unmasking myself first

My career began in Rotterdam as an energy policy consultant, doing work that looked successful from the outside. But hiding behind a desk—and behind a mask—left me disconnected from myself and what really gave me purpose.

It took me two years to hand in my resignation and take a leap of faith to swap my consultancy job for the wild waters of Wales. I started as an outdoor pursuits instructor (coasteering) and then moved into behavioural therapy, working with clients with autism.

Why ACT for Neurodivergent Adults?

Traditional CBT approaches often focus on managing symptoms or “fixing” behaviour, but ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training) is different.

ACT is all about psychological flexibility: building the skills to face difficult experiences, stay present, and take action towards your own values, even when it’s uncomfortable. The beauty of ACT is that it doesn’t see neurodivergence as something to be cured—it recognises and celebrates neurological diversity as a natural part of humanity.

ACT works so well for neurodivergent people because it:

Your neurodivergence isn’t a disorder to fix, struggles are a part of the human experience. No brain is the same. We focus on building psychological flexibility skills, not changing who you are.

If you’ve met one person with ADHD, you’ve met one person with ADHD. The same applies to autism. We are all different and face a different context so it is only fair to acknowledge the whole picture. I tailor the approach to your needs, strengths, sensory differences, and preferred ways of communicating. Going step-by-step with as much support and structure as required.

ACT acknowledges the real stress, prejudice, and challenges neurodivergent people face, and offers practical, compassionate tools to move forward.

ACT is neither pro- nor anti-medication. If medication helps you build a better life and the benefits outweigh the costs, it’s workable. We take a flexible, individualized approach.

Beyond quick fixes

Many conventional supports for neurodivergent adults focus on external strategies—time management, organisation, productivity. But without building the deeper psychological skills needed to promote awareness and resilience in the face of adversity, these tools rarely stick.

By weaving Acceptance and Commitment Training* into our coaching services we get to the root, helping you:

  • Open up

    #

Make space for uncomfortable and difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them taking control of you.

  • Stay present

    #

Be in the here and now, even when your mind is pulled in a million directions. Learn the skills to redirect your attention to what really matters; and sustain it when necessary.

  • Commit to action

    #

Take steps guided by your own values, because you want to live life your way. Not about fitting in or being 'normal'—about living authentically on your own terms.

Working with me

Outside of coaching, I'm a husband and father.

When I find time for myself, I'm usually outdoors or swimming in cold water. It keeps me present and helps me reconnect to my body (head-heavy job). Nature and movement grounds me.
