Your Neurodiversity Coach

If you're here, chances are you know what it feels like to have a busy brain, to struggle with the intensity of your emotions, or to lose track of time and stay organised.

I get it. Really.

For over nine years, I’ve worked exclusively with neurodivergent adults so I hear these stories daily. But for me, this work doesn't stop when the session ends. Neurodiversity is part of my family life too, and navigating that every day teaches me things no training course ever can.

I coach five days a week, working both privately and as a delivery partner for public sector organisations including the DWP's Access to Work scheme and the Ministry of Justice.

My approach is rooted in contextual behavioural science — practical, evidence-based, and built around your life, not a textbook version of it.

Unmasking myself first

I didn't start here. My career began in Rotterdam as an energy policy consultant — stable income, clear progression, work that looked good on paper. But I was hiding behind a desk and, without fully understanding it at the time, behind a mask.

It took me two years of sitting with that feeling before I finally acted on it. I handed in my notice and made a leap that, on paper, made very little sense: swapping corporate life for coasteering instruction in Wales. Then behavioural therapy, working with autistic clients. Mentoring people into work. Then coaching.

Step by step, I moved closer to work that was actually close to my heart and my skillset. That experience — of knowing something needed to change but struggling to move — is one I've lived. And it's one I now help others navigate every day.

Why ACT for Neurodivergent Adults?

Traditional CBT approaches often focus on managing symptoms or “fixing” behaviour, but ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training) is different.

ACT is all about psychological flexibility: building the skills to face difficult experiences, stay present, and take action towards your own values, even when it’s uncomfortable. The beauty of ACT is that it doesn’t see neurodivergence as something to be cured—it recognises and celebrates neurological diversity as a natural part of humanity.

ACT works so well for neurodivergent people because it:

Your neurodivergence isn’t a disorder to fix, struggles are a part of the human experience. No brain is the same. We focus on building psychological flexibility skills, not changing who you are.

If you’ve met one person with ADHD, you’ve met one person with ADHD. The same applies to autism. We are all different and face a different context so it is only fair to acknowledge the whole picture. I tailor the approach to your needs, strengths, sensory differences, and preferred ways of communicating. Going step-by-step with as much support and structure as required.

ACT acknowledges the real stress, prejudice, and challenges neurodivergent people face, and offers practical, compassionate tools to move forward.

ACT is neither pro- nor anti-medication. If medication helps you build a better life and the benefits outweigh the costs, it’s workable. We take a flexible, individualized approach.

Beyond quick fixes

Many conventional supports for neurodivergent adults focus on external strategies—time management, organisation, productivity. But without building the deeper psychological skills needed to promote awareness and resilience in the face of adversity, these tools rarely stick.

By weaving Acceptance and Commitment Training* into our coaching services we get to the root, helping you:

  • Open up

    #

Make space for uncomfortable and difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them taking control of you.

  • Stay present

    #

Be in the here and now, even when your mind is pulled in a million directions. Learn the skills to redirect your attention to what really matters; and sustain it when necessary.

  • Commit to action

    #

Take steps guided by your own values, because you want to live life your way. Not about fitting in or being 'normal'—about living authentically on your own terms.

Working with me

Outside of coaching, I'm a husband and father.

When I find time for myself, I'm usually outdoors or swimming in cold water. It keeps me present and helps me reconnect to my body (head-heavy job).
Nature and movement grounds me.
