Understand Your Neurodivergent Coaching Needs

Where do you need the most support?

You know something isn't working — but you're not always sure what, or why. This free assessment maps your executive functioning across seven key areas, shows you where the gaps are, and connects them to the skills that can actually help.

What you'll learn

Seven areas. Real clarity. A personalised starting point.

Russell Barkley — one of the world's leading researchers on ADHD and executive function — identified seven core executive functions that govern how we plan, act, and regulate ourselves. This assessment scores you across all seven, so you leave knowing exactly where your brain is working against you — and what to do about it.

Discover Your Coaching Needs
Our 7 core executive functions:

Your ability to observe yourself in real time — to notice your own thoughts, behaviours, and patterns as they’re happening.

Your ability to pause before acting — to stop, think, and choose a response rather than react automatically.

Your ability to hold images, sequences, and spatial information in mind while using them — the mental sketchpad that keeps track of what you’re doing and where you are in a process.

Your ability to hold words, instructions, and internal speech in mind — the inner voice that talks you through what you’re doing and why.

Your ability to manage the intensity and duration of emotional responses — not to suppress them, but to keep them from taking over.

Your ability to generate drive from within — to keep going on tasks that aren’t immediately rewarding, stimulating, or urgent.

Your ability to map out the steps needed to reach a goal, manage time, and keep track of what needs to happen when.

About

I'm Nick, a neurodiversity coach based in Wales. I've spent over nine years working exclusively with neurodivergent adults — privately and as a delivery partner for the DWP's Access to Work scheme and the Ministry of Justice.

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) and Russell Barkley's executive function model — because understanding why your brain works the way it does is the foundation for building something that actually sticks.
